They have said from the start that the plan was to include karting and dirt tracks, but have never given any dates. As far as I know it's still in the pipeline.
No. You will need to do the 4 races/time trials at "D" level, mind also that you will get a whole point knocked of your SR rating so that will drop also. It also becomes a bit harder to get SR points the higher your SR rating goes, but easier to drop them.

The late model is prob the most thrilling car in iRacing. You can take the car to the limit easily enough, and it's timid enough not to bite too hard, but angry enough to kick you in the crown jewels and leave you in tears.
@brt900 - Follow Anttt69's advice, buy only what is needed to complete a season and DON'T RUSH IT. I moved up to quickly and hated it as I didn't learn the tracks/cars enough to be competitive, but have now taken a step back, gone down a level and enjoying it more than ever.

So anyone making it to view mad drivers with overpowered cars on track not fit for taking a mountain bike on.
Last night they had the same problem at around 2am (GMT), so maybe it's not so much as a fault due to the hughe numbers, but a fault in the system it'sself that could have gone at any time.
